In order to be accepted in this program:

1. You should be an 11th or 12th grade student (Fall 2007) at any local high school in proximity to West Lane Technical Learning Center.
2. You will need to complete a program application.  Print and complete this form and submit to West Lane Tech along with:
3. A Current transcript from your High School.  Get this from your school registrar.
4. A letter of interest to Auto Academy Instructor. This letter should document any experiences you have had with mechanical or other technical areas; why you feel that the program would meet your career goals; and why you think that you would be successful in type of program.
5. Two recommendations from teachers who know you and your skills (Teacher Recommendation Form)  Give teachers the forms and they should submit the recommendations directly to West lane Tech.
